    Alcohol May Weaken Our Bones

    Drinking alcohol in heavy quantity may weaken your bones. Alcohol have many other side effects on health like liver failure, heart attack etc. In a recent research it is cleared that heavy usage of alcohol will show bad effect on your bones and increases the risk of osteoporosis in later life. So all doctors and experts recommend drink alcohol in moderate level if you want to be strong.    

    We all know this calcium is the essential nutrient for the bones and alcohol is the enemy of calcium. Alcohol has bad effect on calcium, if your bones will not get proper amount of calcium its get weakens and alcohol leaching it away from the bones.

    How Alcohol Effects On Bones
    Experts explain that if you drink too much alcohol per day, your stomach will not absorb the calcium. Alcohol has anti property with the digesting of calcium and vitamin D. alcohol also interferes in the liver function, effect the secreting of vitamin D.

    In women, study says alcohol decreases the estrogen which effect the irregular periods. In women as estrogen level going down, it leads to affect the bones getting weaker.

    Consuming alcohol at very high level, increase the level of two hormones cortisol and parathyroid which are also responsible for bones damage. Cortisol, this hormone found in the people when they drink alcohol at high level. This hormone may decrease the bones formation in the body and leads to bone breakage or damage. Parathyroid hormone increase by the consumption of chronic alcohol, which leaches the calcium from the bones.

    There are many other side effect of drinking alcohol at very high level like, stop function of osteoblasts, nutritional deficiencies which effects on skin and skin cells.

    Heavy Drinks Have Risk of Bone Fracture
    Those people who are heavy drinker they have more chances to get fracture especially at hip and fracture. Alcohol damages our nerve. These fractures may take long time to heal due absent of vital nutrient in the body. If someone quite his drinking, it will effect on bone health. He will recover fractured bones rapidly.

    Those people who drinks and smokes, experts says stop this both habits because both have big side effect on bone health.

    Doctors say, in a recent study it is proved that if you drink alcohol in moderate level in a day, so you will get strong bones.
